Bob Sherman

Bob Sherman serves as Associate Professor and Chair of the Computer Information Systems Department at Sinclair Community College in Dayton, Ohio, where he has been instrumental since joining in 2000.

Education:

• M.Ed. from Miami University
• Additional graduate work at Air Force Institute of Technology (AFIT)

• Cybersecurity leadership in community college contexts
• National security-focused information assurance systems
• Big data applications for educational frameworks
• Competency-based curriculum development

Sherman directs student research in cybersecurity frameworks while maintaining industry connections through his 20+ years of pre-academic software development and technical sales experience.
