Bob Paris

Bob Paris is an Associate Professor in the Department of Kinetic Imaging at Virginia Commonwealth University. As an electronic artist, his work critically examines mass media, social duplicity, and cultural violence, with exhibitions at global venues such as the Whitney Biennial and Sarajevo Winter Festival. He earned a BA in English and an MA in Journalism from the University of California at Berkeley.

His research focuses on multimedia artworks intersecting weapons, war, civilian casualties, and pop culture through projects like The Cluster Project. Paris also maintains a professional website (bobparis.net) showcasing his creative practice.
