Bo Song

Dr. Bo Song is a Lecturer (Industrial Automation) in the School of Engineering at the University of Southern Queensland since 2020. Previously, he served as an Industrial Research Fellow at the same institution (2018–2019). His qualifications include a BEng from Henan, MIT UNSW, and a PhD from USQ.

His research expertise spans Multi-modal Realistic Human Head Modelling, Image and Signal Processing, Artificial Intelligence, and Machine Learning. He specializes in Biomedical Imaging, Biomedical Instrumentation, Rehabilitation Engineering, Control Engineering, and Medical Robotics. Dr. Song teaches courses including Control and Instrumentation (ELE2101), Linear Systems and Control (ELE2103), and Computer Controlled Systems (ELE3105).

He holds professional memberships with the ACS and IEEE. His work integrates interdisciplinary approaches to industrial automation and healthcare technologies.
