Blair Hamilton

Dr Blair Hamilton is a Research Fellow in Sports Medicine at Manchester Metropolitan University (MMU), affiliated with the Department of Sport and Exercise Sciences. He holds a PhD from the University of Brighton and a BSc (Hons) in Exercise and Health Science from the University of Aberdeen. His research focuses on the physiological impacts of gender-affirming hormone treatments on transgender athletes’ performance and musculoskeletal health, emphasizing inclusivity in sports. He has also contributed to bone density studies and the role of exercise in musculoskeletal well-being.
