Bjørn Rishovd Rund

Bjørn Rishovd Rund is a Professor at the Department of Psychology, University of Oslo, and Research Director at West Creek HF. He specializes in schizophrenia research, focusing on cognitive dysfunction, early intervention (TIPS), neuroimaging (fMRI/structural MRI), and the consequences of brain development abnormalities. His work also addresses violence prediction, ethics in psychological research, and cost-effectiveness of treatments. Rund holds a Cand. Psychol (1976), PhD (1984), and a Master’s in Health Administration (1990). He has been a full-time/part-time professor at UiO since 1988, served as Department Manager (1999–2001), and was Director of Mental Health at Asker and Bærum Hospital (2005–2010).
