Bjørge Herman Hansen is a Professor in the Department of Sport Science and Physical Education at the University of Agder (UiA). His research focuses on the relationship between physical activity and health across the lifespan, particularly in children, adults, and the elderly. He also examines surveillance of health behaviors and methodological advancements in device-based measurement of physical activity and sedentary behavior.
