Bjoern Brixius

Bjoern Brixius is a Research Specialist and Lab Manager at the University of Pittsburgh. He specializes in analytical chemistry techniques such as GC-MS, GC-FID, and LC-MS, with expertise in environmental analysis, food/consumer goods testing, and steroid analysis in human serum. His career spans over two decades, including roles in Germany at CBA (Chemische Beratung und Analyse) and Bureau Veritas North America, followed by research collaborations at the University of Michigan and Michigan Medicine. Since January 2022, he leads the Brixius Lab, focusing on advancing analytical methodologies and laboratory operations.
