Biser Tsolov

Prof. Biser Tsolov is a Professor at the National Academy of Sports "Vasil Levski", affiliated with the Faculty of Sport and the Department of Management and History of Sports. He has served as Head of the Department (2008–2020) and Head of the Center for Postgraduate Qualification (since 2009). His roles include designing sports management curricula and leading program councils for Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees.

• Education: Graduated from the National Academy of Sports (1989), earned a Doctorate (1994), and Doctor of Pedagogical Sciences (2007).
• Specialization: Management of Company Brand Identity (1998–1999, University of National and World Economy).

Research interests span sports management and marketing, transfer policy in sports, public relations and advertising, pedagogical staff training, football tactics, and sports intelligence. His recent publications focus on financial models, consumer behavior in sports services, and curriculum development.

Advising and Projects: Supervised numerous bachelors, masters, and doctoral theses; led multiple research projects; and contributed to national sports policy through roles in the Public Council for Physical Education and Sports and expert groups.

Labs and Teams: Collaborated with institutions like PFC CSKA Sofia (as analyst) and FC CSKA 1948 EAD (chief methodologist), integrating theory with practical sports analytics.
