Bin Yang

Dr. Bin Yang currently holds the position of Marie Curie Postdoctoral Fellow in the Department of Materials and Processes within the School of Engineering. His research focuses on advanced composite materials, emphasizing structural analysis, lightning strike protection, and nanomaterial-enhanced material systems. He has contributed extensively to understanding damage mechanisms in composite laminates and honeycomb structures under extreme conditions such as impact, thermal stress, and electrical loads.
