Bill Seki is an Associate Professor of Law and Co-Director of the Trial Advocacy Honors Program at Southwestern Law School. He holds a B.A. in Political Science (1984, California State University, Northridge) and J.D. (1988, Southwestern Law School). With a dual career as an attorney and educator, he previously served as a Deputy Los Angeles District Attorney and later specialized in criminal defense, including representation of law enforcement officers. He co-founded the law firm Seki, Nishimura & Watase, LLP, while maintaining an active teaching role at Southwestern since 1990s.

- Local Hero Award (2008) for work with Go for Broke National Education Center
His teaching emphasizes real-world application of legal principles. He advises Southwestern’s trial advocacy teams, leading to national championships. His community contributions include leadership roles in the Japanese-American Bar Association and preservation of WWII Nisei veterans’ histories.
