Bill Poirier

Bill Poirier serves as the Department Chair of Chemistry at the University of Vermont (UVM), located within the College of Arts and Sciences. His research focuses on Computational/Theoretical Physical Chemistry, specializing in Quantum Dynamics. Poirier holds a Ph.D. from the University of California, Berkeley (1997), followed by postdoctoral studies at the University of Chicago (1997–2000) and the University of Montreal (2000–2001).
