Bill Brewer

Bill Brewer is the Susan Stebbing Professor of Philosophy at King's College London, specializing in Philosophy of Mind, Metaphysics, and Epistemology. He holds degrees from Oxford University and previously served at Warwick University, St. Catherine's College Oxford, and King's College Cambridge.

His research explores:

• The nature of conscious perceptual experience
• Metaphysics of enduring worldly objects
• Perception as spatiotemporal perspective
• Objectivity in perception
• Intersections of mind, metaphysics and epistemology

Publications focus on perceptual realism, consciousness studies, and epistemological foundations of experience, demonstrating consistent investigation into how perception structures our understanding of reality.

Teaches undergraduate and MA courses in Philosophy of Mind and Metaphysics while supervising postgraduate research students in these areas.
