Prof. Dr. Bilal KIRKICI is a faculty member at the Middle East Technical University (METU), Faculty of Education, Department of Foreign Language Education. His academic career spans institutions including Başkent University, Oxford University's Faculty of Asian and Middle Eastern Studies, and the University of Essex. He holds a PhD in English Language Teaching (2005) and MA degrees in Applied Linguistics (2002) and English Language Teaching (2000) from METU and the University of Essex, respectively.

- Heritage language acquisition and processing
