Bich Nguyen

Dr. Bich Nguyen is a Lecturer in the School of Education at Curtin University, affiliated with the Faculty of Humanities. With over 20 years of experience in teaching and lecturing across schools and universities, she specializes in World Englishes, Functional Linguistics, and Second Language Acquisition. Her research focuses on improving educational outcomes for students who speak English as an additional language or dialect, particularly in primary and secondary education contexts.

Her research interests include teacher resilience, Aboriginal education, and pedagogical strategies in multilingual environments. She co-edited the book Teaching young second language learners: Practices in different classroom contexts and has presented at conferences such as ATEA and AFMLTA International Languages Conference.
