Bhupendra Khandelwal

Dr. Bhupendra Khandelwal is an Associate Professor in the Department of Mechanical Engineering at the University of Alabama’s College of Engineering. He joined UA in 2020, focusing on fuels, combustion, and emissions research for sustainable aviation. His work spans alternative fuels, hydrogen combustion, low-emission combustors, and fuel system compatibility, with collaborations involving U.S. DOE, FAA, Siemens, Rolls-Royce, UK MOD, and Dstl.
