Prof. Bhavik Patel is a Professor of Clinical and Bioanalytical Chemistry at the School of Applied Sciences, University of Brighton. His research focuses on developing biosensors for real-time biological signaling analysis, drug stability monitoring in neonatal care, and innovative e-learning tools. He holds prestigious awards including the National Teaching Fellowship (2022) and the Royal Society of Chemistry Excellence in Higher Education Award (2021).
Education: BSc (Hons) Pharmaceutical & Chemical Sciences (University of Brighton, 2002); PhD in Bioengineering (Imperial College London, 2005).
Research interests include bioanalytical chemistry, neurotransmitter signaling in aging nervous systems, and educational technology.
