Beverly K. Johnson is a Clinical Associate Professor in the Department of Medicine (Rheumatology) at Albert Einstein College of Medicine and Chief of Rheumatology at Jacobi and North Central Bronx Hospitals. She graduated from Brown University with an A.B. in Religious Studies (2001), earned her M.D. from Columbia University Vagelos College of Physicians and Surgeons (2006), and completed a Master's in Epidemiology from Columbia Mailman School of Public Health (2013). Her research focuses on musculoskeletal ultrasound, lupus, quality improvement in rheumatology care, and clinical trials. She leads the musculoskeletal ultrasound program for Einstein rheumatology fellows and directs the Lupus Center at Jacobi Medical Center, actively conducting lupus clinical trials.
