Beverly Hancock serves as an Assistant Professor and Director of the Transformative Leadership: Systems DNP Program within the Department of Women, Children and Family Nursing at Rush University's College of Nursing. Her position focuses on advancing leadership education and systems-level thinking in nursing practice, with particular emphasis on women's, children's, and family health outcomes across healthcare systems.
Her research interests center on Nursing Leadership, Healthcare Systems, Women's Health, Children's Health, Family Nursing, and Nursing Professional Development. She applies evidence-based approaches to develop transformative leadership models that enhance nursing practice standards and improve patient care delivery in maternal-child health settings.
Dr. Hancock has received significant professional recognition through election as a Fellow of the American Academy of Nursing (FAAN), highlighting her substantial contributions to nursing science and healthcare innovation.
