Betty Yang, MD, MS, is an emergency medicine physician and prehospital researcher affiliated with the University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center. She serves as associate medical director of the UTSW/Parkland BioTel EMS System and cares for patients at Clements University Hospital and Parkland Memorial Hospital. Her research focuses on prehospital resuscitation, particularly out-of-hospital cardiac arrest, ventilation techniques, and trauma care innovation.
Dr. Yang holds a master’s degree in Health Systems and Population Health from the UW School of Public Health. She completed EMS and research fellowships at the University of Washington, gaining expertise in quality improvement, pandemic response, and implementation science.
