Betty Wright-Riggins

Betty Wright-Riggins is an Adjunct Faculty member in the Theology Department at Eastern University’s College of Arts and Humanities. She is an ordained American Baptist Minister and Certified Spiritual Director with extensive experience in Christian ministry, pastoral leadership, and spiritual formation.

Her expertise spans spiritual direction practices, theological education, and community-based spiritual formation initiatives, including founding the "Breathing the Breath of God" gatherings and providing weekly "Breathing in Scripture" audio readings. She also works at the Middleton Center for Counseling and Spiritual Direction and facilitates groups at Oasis Ministry for Spiritual Development.
