Betsey Miller

Betsey Miller is Senior Instructor I in Horticulture at Oregon State University. She teaches undergraduate entomology and researches integrated pest management strategies for fruit and nut crops, particularly hazelnuts and small fruits.

Research approaches include:

• Pheromone mating disruption
• Biological control using entomopathogens
• Vertebrate-based pest management (poultry)
• Parasitoid deployment

Focuses on reducing pesticide usage through ecological alternatives. Current projects involve biological control agents and mating disruption techniques for sustainable agriculture.
