Beth Meyerson

Beth Meyerson, PhD, is a Professor at the University of Arizona College of Nursing and the Beverly Benson McCord Endowed Chair of Nursing. She serves as Policy Director for the Comprehensive Center for Pain & Addiction, focusing on aging populations at the intersection of chronic pain and opioid use disorder. Her work includes mentorship in the Harm Reduction Research Lab with national transdisciplinary collaborators and leading NIDA-funded studies like MPACT and AMP to improve treatment and clinical training for older adults.

Her research addresses opioid treatment retention, trauma among providers, chronic pain disparities, and pharmacy-level harm reduction. She develops clinical decision support tools and training simulations for graduate nursing and medical practitioners.
