Beth Cory

Beth Cory is Associate Professor of Mathematics Education in the Department of Mathematics and Statistics at Sam Houston State University. She holds a PhD in Mathematics Education from the University of Virginia, MS in Mathematics from Florida State University, and BS in Mathematics from Liberty University.

Cory's academic focus centers on mathematics pedagogy, instructional methodologies, and curriculum development for STEM education. Her teaching and research explore effective strategies for enhancing mathematical understanding across diverse learner populations. She maintains an active research program investigating innovative approaches to mathematics instruction and assessment.
