Beth Bramich is an Associate Lecturer in BA Fine Art: Photography at Camberwell College of Arts and Central Saint Martins, both part of University of the Arts London. She earned her MA in Critical Writing in Art & Design from the Royal College of Art in 2015 and is currently pursuing a PhD in Sociology at Goldsmiths, University of London.
Her research and writing focuses on intersections between contemporary art, feminist studies, queer theory, and socially engaged practices. She contributes to publications such as Art Monthly, Frieze, Apollo Magazine, and Burlington Contemporary. Bramich is also a member of the Feminist Duration Reading Group and the research network Group Work: Contemporary Art and Feminism, convened by Catherine Grant, Amy Tobin, and Rachel Warriner.
As a curatorial resident with Flatness at Forma Arts and Media in London, she participates in the Oasis initiative for socially engaged programming. She recently served as an editor for the Flatness publication Queer Diasporic Futurity. Her work bridges critical writing, curatorial practice, and feminist methodologies in art and sociology.
