Bertram Düring

Bertram Düring is Professor of Mathematics at the University of Warwick, serving as Director of Graduate Studies and Director of the Mathematics Centre for Doctoral Training. His research focuses on applied and computational partial differential equations.

Key applications include financial mathematics (option pricing models, stochastic volatility) and socio-economic systems (kinetic opinion formation, wealth distribution). Recent work develops high-order numerical schemes for financial PDEs and agent-based models for social dynamics.
