Dr Bernardo Rangoni is a Senior Lecturer (Associate Professor, tenured) in the Department of Politics and International Relations at the University of York. He leads Postgraduate Programs in Public Policy and convenes the Public Policy Research Cluster. His research focuses on governance and regulation, particularly in markets and firms, informed by roles at the European University Institute (Max Weber Fellow) and the London School of Economics (Fellow in Political Economy). He holds a Marie Skłodowska-Curie Fellowship supporting projects on regulatory metrics and trust in governance.
Teaching responsibilities include designing and teaching courses like 'Regulation and Governance' and 'Theories of the Policy Process', with guest lectures at Harvard and Yale Law School. His work appears in top journals like Journal of European Public Policy and Regulation & Governance, and he co-edits the LSE Europe in Question series.
