Bernadetta Izydorczyk is a Full Professor at the Institute of Psychology, Faculty of Philosophy, Jagiellonian University. She serves on university committees including the Doctoral School Admissions Committee and Promotion Committee, while also acting as National Consultant in Clinical Psychology.
Her research examines psychological risk factors for mental disorders in youth, crisis coping mechanisms, and protective factors in mental health prevention. She specializes in psychodrama therapy and child/adolescent psychotherapy, holding supervisor credentials from the Polish Psychiatric Association.
Current research projects investigate polycrisis impacts on young adults' mental health, personality-pain relationships in orthopedic patients, body image determinants in clinical populations, and neurodevelopmental effects of air pollution (NeuroSmog project).
