Prof. Dr. Berna Güroğlu serves as Professor of Neuroscience of Social Relations at the Institute of Psychology, Leiden University. Her research centers on adolescent brain development, social decision-making, and peer dynamics, particularly in the context of bullying and social exclusion.
Research Interests
Her work investigates how victimization impacts social information processing, including attention to social cues, interpretation of peer interactions, and long-term neural development patterns.
