Berkant Sezer

Berkant Sezer is an Associate Professor in the Department of Pediatric Dentistry at Çanakkale Onsekiz Mart University Faculty of Dentistry. He holds the distinction of being Türkiye's youngest associate professor in pediatric dentistry, appointed at 31 years old. With a dental degree from Gazi University (2015) and specialty training from Marmara University (2020), his career includes global recognitions like the 2018 University of Washington Scholarship and multiple travel awards from international dental organizations.

His research focuses on molar-incisor hypomineralization (MIH), minimal intervention dentistry, and oral health disparities. He has published prolifically in high-impact journals since 2022, leading his institution in SCI-indexed publications annually. Sezer serves on editorial boards for BMC Oral Health and Clinical and Experimental Health Sciences, and chairs the Young TPD Commission of the Turkish Society of Pediatric Dentistry.

Notable awards include the 2025 Best Academic Achievement Award and international travel grants for research excellence. His work bridges clinical practice with public health, addressing topics like dental trauma management, AI in healthcare, and forensic dental anthropology.
