Benny Leong

Benny Leong is a Professor of Practice (Design Practice) at the School of Design, The Hong Kong Polytechnic University. His career bridges academic leadership and industry expertise, having rejoining PolyU Design after previous roles as Assistant Professor and program leader for the MDes ID&BM and BA(hons) Product Design programmes. He founded the Asian Lifestyle Design Lab (ALDL) and secured sponsored projects from global companies like Philips, Huawei, and Renault.

He actively contributes to design education policy as an advisor to organizations like the Industrial Designers Society of Hong Kong and China’s Ministry of Education committees.
