Benjamin Wragg

Benjamin Wragg serves as a violin tutor at the Royal Academy of Music Junior Department with over 20 years of intensive teaching experience. He concurrently operates a private studio in central London and Norfolk, offering face-to-face and online instruction throughout the year.

Wragg completed his studies at the Royal Academy of Music before being invited to teach at the Junior Department. His pupils consistently achieve distinction, including leading symphony orchestras, winning prestigious violin prizes, securing scholarships, and gaining admission to top UK music schools like the Purcell School. Many have performed as soloists at Wigmore Hall and Milton Court, joined the National Youth Orchestra, and excelled in national competitions.

Due to his teaching excellence, he is frequently invited to conduct performance classes for undergraduate and postgraduate students at the Royal Academy of Music, teach at international summer schools, and adjudicate competitions including the Trinity Laban Concerto Competition.
