Dr Benjamin Spagnolo is a Trinity College Fellow and Trinity Associate Professor in Law at the University of Cambridge. He teaches civil (Roman) law and public law. Previously, he served as the Penningtons Student (Fellow) and Tutor in Law at Christ Church, Oxford, and is an Adjunct Teaching Fellow at the University of Western Australia Law School. He was admitted as a barrister and solicitor in Western Australia in 2006 and worked as an Associate to the Chief Justice of Australia (2007–2008).
Education: BA(Hons), LLB(Hons) from University of Western Australia; BCL and DPhil from the University of Oxford; MA Cantab from the University of Cambridge.
His research focuses on civil law systems, public law, and legal history. His professional experience includes judicial engagement and legal practice in Australia.
