Benjamin Smith

Dr. Benjamin Smith is Associate Professor of Geography at Florida International University, examining how landscapes shape cultural identities and spatial organization. His research focuses on Arab Gulf cities, particularly Dubai, analyzing how urban spaces become sites for cultural expression and economic development. Through case studies, he investigates how masculinity and femininity are represented in media and fashion within global consumer culture.
