Benjamin Hotmire is a Professor at Taylor University's Education Department, currently serving as Dean of Business, Education, & Social and Behavioral Science. He holds a PhD in Leadership from Ball State University, with cognates in Educational Technology and Social Foundations of Education.

His research focuses on authentic pedagogy, reflective practices, student leadership mentoring, and teacher personality development. He has presented internationally on mentoring strategies, teacher self-awareness, and experiential learning frameworks.
Hotmire has spearheaded initiatives like Taylor’s Transition to Teaching, Online Licensure, and TESOL programs, alongside creating the undergraduate Education Mentoring Program. His work addresses teacher retention, curriculum design, and global educational outreach.
