Benjamin Britton is Associate Professor of Electronic Art at the University of Cincinnati's College of Design, Architecture, Art, and Planning, with a research focus on digital media, game development, and archaeological visualization. He holds an MFA from San Francisco Art Institute (1991) and is currently a PhD candidate in Geography/GIS at UC.
As co-founder of CERHAS (Center for Electronic Reconstruction of Historical Sites), he develops tools for cultural heritage projects. His interactive installations have been exhibited at MoMA, Stedelijk Museum, and Ars Electronica. Awards include Prix Ars Electronica (1990) and NEA Fellowship (1994).
