About
Beniamin Abramczyk is a researcher affiliated with the University of Warsaw, specializing in mycology, microbial interactions, and interdisciplinary research. He leads several funded projects, including NCN WEAVE-UNISONO 2024/06/Y/NZ8/00013 on Mortierellaceae functional diversity and SKN/SP/570335/2023 evaluating bioremediation potential of Entomortierella parvispora. His work spans fungal taxonomy, soil contamination studies, and collaborations in public health education.
His research interests include the land colonization processes of fungi, symbiotic relationships between fungi and photosynthetic organisms, and bioremediation applications. He is a member of the International Mycological Association (IMA).
Publications highlight contributions to fungal systematics, new species discoveries, and interdisciplinary studies in cardiovascular physiology and microbiology education. Contact: b.abramczyk@uw.edu.pl, ORCID-linked research in mycology.
