Ben Y. Zhao is the Neubauer Professor of Computer Science at the University of Chicago, where he has held a faculty position since 2017. He co-directs the SAND Lab (Security, Algorithms, Networking and Data) with Heather Zheng, focusing on adversarial machine learning and tools to mitigate generative AI harms against human creatives.
