Ben Wang is an Associate Professor in Economics at Macquarie University's Department of Economics, affiliated with Macquarie Business School. He holds roles as Strategic Corporate Engagement Coordinator, ESA NSW Treasurer (since 2022), and CESA council member (since 2018). His PhD from Macquarie University earned a Vice-Chancellor’s commendation.
Research focuses on three pillars: 1) Expectation formation driven by news, 2) Economic uncertainty measurement and impacts, and 3) Monetary policy communication effects.
