Ben R. Lee

Dr. Ben R. Lee is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Biological Sciences at East Tennessee State University's School of Science, Engineering, and Math. His research specializes in climate change ecology with emphasis on:

• Forest ecosystem responses to climate change
• Phenological shifts in plant life cycles
• Species invasion dynamics
• Biodiversity and community composition changes
• Carbon storage patterns in trees

He teaches undergraduate and graduate courses including:

• BIOL 3300: Evolution and Ecology of Natural Resources
• BIOL 4117/5117: Field Ecology Methods and Analyses
