Ben Morris

Ben Morris is an active saxophonist and chamber musician serving as Assistant Professor of Saxophone at Morehead State University's School of Music & Theatre. His cross-genre expertise spans jazz, classical, and commercial music, with performance experience ranging from symphonic orchestras to big bands.

• Studied under saxophone legend Dale Underwood at Frost School of Music (DMA)
• Co-founder of two professional saxophone quartets: Deco Saxophone Quartet and Bridges Saxophone Quartet
• Performed with New World Symphony, Henry Mancini Institute Orchestra, and Nu Deco Ensemble

His research focuses on saxophone pedagogy and genre-bending chamber music commissions. Current educational efforts emphasize exposing students to the saxophone's sonic capabilities and mentoring emerging composers.
