Ben McDonnell is a Senior Lecturer in Fine Art at Norwich University of the Arts, with a background in Jazz music composition and performance (Leeds College of Music) and an MA in Photography from the Royal College of Art. His PhD research at Goldsmiths, University of London explores graphic notation in pedagogic events. His practice intertwines sound, photography, and sculpture to investigate themes of stability, support, and structure, often using repurposed materials. He has exhibited internationally and contributed to conferences and publications.
