Dr. Ben Marshall is a Lecturer in Sport and Exercise Psychology and Programme Lead for the BSc (Hons) Sport and Exercise Science at the Institute of Sport, Manchester Metropolitan University. His research focuses on mental simulation techniques such as virtual reality, motor imagery, and action observation, investigating their impact on learning and skilled performance in diverse populations. Current interests include improving stroke rehabilitation through mental simulation and enhancing performance in health and sports via VR. He teaches undergraduate and postgraduate courses in Sport and Exercise Science and Psychology.
