Ben L. Feringa is a Professor of Organic Chemistry at the University of Groningen since 1988 and a Royal Netherlands Academy of Sciences (KNAW) Academy Professor since 2008. He holds the Jacobus H. van 't Hoff Distinguished Professor of Molecular Sciences chair and is a Hans Fischer Honorary Fellow at the Technical University of Munich.
