Dr Ben Higgins is a Career Development Fellow in English Literature at the University of Oxford's Faculty of English Language & Literature, affiliated with Lady Margaret Hall. His research focuses on early modern literary and material cultures, particularly Shakespeare, book history, and editorial practices. His monograph Shakespeare’s Syndicate (2022) redefines the publication of Shakespeare's First Folio and was shortlisted for prestigious awards. He collaborates on Early Modern Bookspace (Cambridge UP, forthcoming), exploring reading sites and interpretive strategies.
