Ben Beachy is an Adjunct Professor in the Department of Information Systems at Eastern Mennonite University (EMU). He holds a BS in Computer Science and Biblical Studies (2002) and an MBA (2009), both from EMU. Since 2002, he has worked in EMU's Information Systems department, contributing to technological initiatives such as emergency notification systems and portal development. Beachy co-founded the Shenandoah Valley Community School, a non-profit alternative school, and has been actively involved in church and community service roles, including chaplaincy at the Harrisonburg Men’s Diversion Center and board memberships in local organizations.
