Becky Reddell is an Assistant Professor of Education at Graceland University, affiliated with the School of Education. She holds an MEd in Curriculum & Instruction from the University of Missouri - Columbia and a BA in Elementary Education from Graceland University. Her professional background includes eight years of teaching elementary education, focusing on literacy and fostering student engagement through creative storytelling. She emphasizes practical classroom strategies and student-centered learning, having achieved notable reading growth outcomes in her students.
Her personal and professional interests blend education with creative writing. She is a self-published author of four YA novels, three poetry collections, and a Christian historical fiction series. Becky actively engages in literary communities, such as the Mid-Continent Public Library’s Local Author Event, and advocates for lifelong learning in languages, literature, and pedagogy.
