Beccy Lewis is a Visiting Lecturer in the Department of Linguistics at the University of Massachusetts Amherst. She holds a PhD (2024) from the University of Connecticut, an MPhil (2018) from the University of Cambridge, and a BA (2017) from the University of York. Her research focuses on syntax-morphology-semantics interfaces, generative typology, and nominal plurality phenomena such as associative plurals. She is currently transitioning out of academia to pursue roles utilizing her research and writing skills.
