Beatriz Arias Martin

Dr. Beatriz Arias Martin is a full-time, permanent Research Associate in the Department of Psychological Diagnostics at Philipps University of Marburg. Her professional focus includes criminal prognosis, personality assessment, systemic psychology, and test development.

• Education: Diplom-Psychologin from Justus-Liebig-University Giessen; PhD in Psychology from Justus-Liebig-University Giessen.

Her research spans criminal psychology, test construction, and systemic integration in diagnostics. She has contributed to the d2-R Attention Test and developed the KOKI Concentration Test for Children, emphasizing computerized assessment tools and norm validation. Her work explores the compatibility of systemic approaches with psychological diagnostics.

Recent publications focus on interpersonal cognitive distortions, child concentration testing, and criminal risk assessment. She supervises B.Sc and M.Sc theses on topics like attention performance in dyslexia, norm updates for the d2-R test, and START risk assessment tools.
