Beatrix Koronczai

Beatrix Koronczai is an Associate Professor at the Institute of Psychology, Eötvös Loránd University, where she serves as Head of the Department of Developmental and Clinical Child Psychology. She is a member of the Research Transparency Committee and leads the Addictology Research Group, focusing on behavioral addictions, adolescent mental health, and digital behavior impacts.

Her research spans problematic social media use, internet addiction, body image, and psychopathological symptoms in youth populations. Recent publications highlight longitudinal studies on social media effects, validation of behavioral scales (e.g., PIUQ, BSMAS), and cross-cultural analyses of digital dependencies.
