Prof. Dr. Beate Ego is a Professor of Old Testament Exegesis and Theology at the Faculty of Protestant Theology, Ruhr University Bochum. Her research focuses on exegetical, theological, and religious-historical aspects of Old Testament literature and Second Temple period texts, particularly issues of cosmology, temple theology, angelology, and anthropological concepts like learning and identity.
